USTA Florida Foundation 2026 Spring Grant Cycle Open Now!
The USTA Florida Section Foundation is excited to announce that its 2026 Spring Grant Cycle is now open, providing funding opportunities for organizations and programs committed to growing tennis participation across Florida. The Spring Cycle will accept applications from February 24 through May 14.
The Foundation’s 2025 grant cycle reinforced its dedication to expanding tennis opportunities for players at all levels. During the cycle, 59 total grants were awarded across all categories, totaling more than $209,000 in support for tennis programs throughout Florida.
The 2026 grant cycle includes Program Support Grants, which can be used for:
- Coaching, equipment, adaptive and wheelchair programs, outreach, and anything else it takes to grow your program
- Up to $15,000 per organization
- One application per organization per year
To qualify for a USTA Florida Foundation grant, applicants must be a nonprofit, public school, or parks and recreation department that is a USTA Organizational Member involved in a publicly accessible tennis program serving the community.
Programs serving youth tennis must be USTA SafePlay approved. The Foundation prioritizes initiatives in youth tennis and adaptive programs for all ages, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of background or ability, have the opportunity to participate in tennis. One application is allowed per organization per year.
Grant funding can be put to work on the court for coaching, equipment, adaptive and wheelchair programming, outreach, and other needs that help grow tennis at the community level.
Before applying, applicants are encouraged to carefully review the grant guidelines and criteria to ensure their proposals align with the Foundation’s mission.
The Foundation has also returned to two grant cycles this year, with a Fall Cycle set to open August 3 through October 20. However, organizations may only submit one application in 2026. It’s important to note that there is a finite amount of funds available, so it’s best to apply as soon as possible to secure funding.
Whether you run youth leagues, adaptive tennis programs, or serve underserved communities, if your mission is growing the game, the USTA Florida Section Foundation wants to help make it happen. For more information and to apply, visit ustafloridafoundation.com/apply.
