Board Application Process & Timeline
2. Apply
Board Application Phase (June 3, 2026 to July 24, 2026)
During this phase, candidates interested in applying should:
- Review Volunteer Position Description (VPD)
- Complete Online Application Form
3. Review & Appointment Phase
Virtual Interviews Conducted (September 9, 2026-October 9, 2026)
- Nominating Committee will review applications
- Virtual interviews will be scheduled and conducted
4. Slate Announced
2027-2028 Term USTA Florida Section Foundation Board of Directors Slate Announced
- In this phase the nominating committee will announce the board slate, and it will be published on November 3rd, 2026.
5. Board Installation & Orientation
USTA Florida Section Foundation Board Installation & Orientation will be at the USTA Florida Tennis Summit November 12, 2026 – November 15,2026
6. Term Begins
Board Terms Begin (January 1st, 2027)
Those candidates who have been selected and have completed the training will begin their term.
